Hemp 360 Mask-off!

hemp 360 face mask

Okay, so I've been using Hemp 360 products for years now.

Ever since I became interested in "crunchy" living things like eating well and using better body care, these guy have been there.

Mostly because they were one of the first products I switched to from conventional face wash.

I've mentioned it before, but I've suffered with acne since I hit puberty.

It freaking sucks, and birth control helped but I'm off of it now.

Mostly because said birth control completely jacked with my own hormones... and I haven't gotten a period since I stopped taking the pill 9 months ago.

Working on it.

So yes, hormones in general just suck.

So now I get bouts of hormonal acne again (also working on it) and need a way to tame it.

Hemp 360 sounds like a crazy plan.

For someone who has depended on prescription-grade face care since age 12, cutting all that medicine wasn't on my agenda for a while.

But then I started eating better.

And I saw improvement in my face... yes, I was still getting breakouts WITH the "high-grade" prescription washes and treatments.

So finally, I just decided to say screw it.

This stuff can't be good for me and clearly my food played a role.

Let's quit it.

I went to the farmer's market and, lo and behold, Hemp 360 was there.

I knew NOTHING about how to judge a good natural product from a bad one at the time.

But the people at this booth were kind and knew how to explain why it works for them, so I caved and gave it a try.

That was 3 years ago.

What about now?

I've gotten to watch this awesome company, based 45 minutes south of Austin in New Braunfels, grow tremendously.

Their entire array of products is huge now.

While I've used their body washes and things of that nature on and off, I always have some of their face soap on hand, as well as their hemp skin repair lotions.

But then... they came out with these masks.

I LOVE face masks.

They feel so refreshing and the three that I reviewed for Hemp 360 are each so unique!

I can't wait for you to check out this mask-off for a company I've followed for a long time and care a lot about!

Let's check it out.

Ginger Lemon Turmeric Mask

This one is my favorite.

Let's just start with that.

One of the newer formulas, I was skeptical about how this would even feel because I think of spicy food when I think of turmeric.

But this is just HEAVEN.

The idea to combine the sweet ginger and lemon with turmeric provides so many anti-inflammation whammies that my acne doesn't know WHAT to do.

It smells delicious, soothes my skin, and I know my redness will be gone the day after I use it (I usually do my masks in the evening).

The dang texture is even super smooth coming out of the bottle.

I highly recommend trying this one out for yourself!

Not only does it work, I haven't seen another mask like it on the market.

Hemp mud

This is the OG Hemp 360 mask.

I tried it all those years ago when I first found the company, and I still love it.

This one feels more like clay and has more of a salty smell to it, but there's also a minty-ness to it that I really love.

It feels like you scooped it from a cave and all the minerals are just soaking into your cheeks.

Unfortunately, I don't like the packaging choice for this mask.

It used to be in a big tub that you could scoop the clay out of, but now it's in these squirt bottles.

Squirt bottles don't work to push clay out very well.

It's more of a logistical error, but I really need to use both hands to get any of the mask out onto my counter so I can use it.

As far as efficacy, I feel this helps with bringing more minerals to my face than anything!

Still feels great, though.

Activated Coconut Charcoal Mask

I was extremely excited when I found out that Hemp 360 was finally jumping on the charcoal train.

It's an awesome ingredient with tons of detox benefits.

However, this mask doesn't work as well for me as a full face-cover.

It's not as soothing as the Turmeric or the Mud masks and can even get itchy.

BUT.

I love this one best as a spot-treatment, and I'll just put it on trouble spots and sleep with it that way a few nights a week.

It shrinks even large trouble pimples right down into their place while I sleep!

For that reason, this mask gains some notoriety back.

Final thoughts on Hemp 360 masks

I'm super happy about this brand.

It's also good to note that my skin tends to be oily, so yours may behave differently with each product.
