Cuban Pulled Pork
Prep time: 12 hours Cook time: 12 hours Total time: 24 hours
Yield: 6-8 servings
Directions
Ingredients
- The night before you plan on cooking the pork, place it in a container that can be covered and pour the kombucha into the container with the meat. Cover the container and allow the pork shoulder to soak in the kombucha overnight in the fridge.
- The next morning, remove the pork shoulder from the kombucha. Shake off excess kombucha dripping from the meat, but do not pat dry. Place pork shoulder into a slow cooker and sprinkle all seasonings evenly on it. Drizzle the vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid hickory smoke evenly over it as well.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 or more hours. Once the meat is fully cooked, remove from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Serve however you choose, preferably with Mojo Sauce for a kick. Save the rest for a great part of your meat meal prep throughout the week!
